Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are not reuniting for a movie, despite an entirely fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story, which comes via a site that has about as much traffic as a deserted island.

According to NaughtyGossip, Pattinson and Stewart “look like they might finally get back together on screen.” The highly unreliable webloid quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Both have had little to no career success since they split. Now agents for both of them are looking for a project for them to star in together.” The blog’s questionable “source” adds that Stewart and Pattinson “both need a big hit, and to get it, they both need each other.”

Clearly, the seemingly fictitious “source” is unaware of the fact that Pattinson is constantly working on films, and Stewart became the first American to win a Cesar Award, the French equivalent of an Oscar, for her performance in Clouds of Sils Maria earlier this year, and she too continues to work on new projects. Regardless, both stars have moved on from their personal and working relationships.

Still, Gossip Cop checked with our impeccable sources. A Stewart insider laughed off the speculation and called its entire premise “absurd.” Meanwhile, a Pattinson confidant basically said we shouldn’t hold our breath for them reuniting, and asked, “Who comes up with this stuff?”

Robert Pattinson is NOT “beyond cheap,” despite a ridiculous report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct this untrue story, which is as absurd as it is wrong.

According to Star, “on more than one occasion” Pattinson has “skipped out on paying his bill” because “he just didn’t want to.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Robert is beyond cheap. If he doesn’t have to spend money, he absolutely won’t.”

“He hates putting his hand in his pocket, especially for grooming services” the magazine’s supposed tipster goes on to claim. Star even goes as far as saying “he drives hairstylists crazy.” Of course, the craziest thing is this story.

This is a magazine that has a years-long history of making up outlandish rumors about Pattinson. Star has falsely linked him to everyone from Sarah Roemer to Caitlin Cronenberg. There was an untrue report of a “cocaine bender.” And just earlier this month, the tabloid ludicrously claimed Pattinson was worried about fiancée FKA Twigs being “too sexy” on stage.

And now this report, too, can be added to the trash heap. Gossip Cop is told the claims are not only flat-out “untrue,” but also just plain “rude.” Which are two words Gossip Cop uses to describe Star on a regular basis.

Kris Jenner is NOT planning to set up Rob Kardashian with Selena Gomez, despite a fabricated story from one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this rumor. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.

According to OK!, the Kardashian matriarch has devised a plant to turn her son and Gomez into a “power couple,” in part because “he’s totally crushing on her,” but mostly because it’s good for the family business. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Rob once called Selena his ‘dream girl,’ and Kris has been plotting ever since.”

However, Gossip Cop is told exclusively by a reliable Kardashian insider that Jenner is not meddling in her son’s love life, and she’s absolutely not scheming to hook him up with Gomez.

Of course, when it comes to Jenner and Gomez, the magazine has a proven record… for being 100 percent wrong. In the past, Gossip Cop corrected the tabloid for wrongly reporting Jenner was producing a reality show starring Gomez. And before that, we debunked a ridiculous story that claimed Jenner was trying to convince Gomez to lose weight and get plastic surgery.

Precisely like those past tall tales, Gossip Cop is exclusively told there’s “no truth” to the claims that Jenner is engineering a romance between Gomez and her son Rob.
