Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are not reuniting for a movie, despite an entirely fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story, which comes via a site that has about as much traffic as a deserted island.
According to NaughtyGossip, Pattinson and Stewart “look like they might finally get back together on screen.” The highly unreliable webloid quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Both have had little to no career success since they split. Now agents for both of them are looking for a project for them to star in together.” The blog’s questionable “source” adds that Stewart and Pattinson “both need a big hit, and to get it, they both need each other.”
Clearly, the seemingly fictitious “source” is unaware of the fact that Pattinson is constantly working on films, and Stewart became the first American to win a Cesar Award, the French equivalent of an Oscar, for her performance in Clouds of Sils Maria earlier this year, and she too continues to work on new projects. Regardless, both stars have moved on from their personal and working relationships.
Still, Gossip Cop checked with our impeccable sources. A Stewart insider laughed off the speculation and called its entire premise “absurd.” Meanwhile, a Pattinson confidant basically said we shouldn’t hold our breath for them reuniting, and asked, “Who comes up with this stuff?”
