ABC is standing by the statement that Diane Sawyer made during Bruce Jenner‘s interview – Kris Jenner did not provide a comment about his transition even though she was asked to do so.
The 65-year-old reality star’s ex wives Chrystie Scott and Linda Thompson both provided a comment for the program. When Kris was called out by media sources for not giving a statement, she responded by saying, “no one asked me to comment.”
“ABC News sent an email to her publicity team more than once,” a rep for ABC told People. “They called and said no comment.”
