Robert Pattinson Comforts Katy Perry Following John Mayer Split

ROBERT Pattinson has been comforting pal Katy Perry following her split from John Mayer.
Sources say Rob has been Katy’s rock following her breakup with the No Such Thing hitmaker.
“Rob has made [Katy] promise to count on him for support, like she did for him when he split for Kristen Stewart,” a source told OK! magazine.
“The question is, how much comforting will go — they always had this really flirtatious relationship.
Rob has been extremely busy with filming, and Katy with touring, but they were reportedly finally able to see each other when the Peacock singer returned from an Australian promo tour at the end of March
. “He’s already proving to be a total rock for her,” the source added.
“Katy’s too torn up for now to think about jumping into bed with anyone, but even she has joked that Rob would make an excellent revenge hookup!
“They do have a wonderful friendship, and they trust each other. No matter how down she is, Rob can always make her laugh, and she loves that.”
