Madonna is to direct a new romantic movie. The 55-year-old hitmaker, who made her directorial debut in 2011, is to get behind the camera again for an adaption of Rebecca Walker's novel 'Adé: A Love Story'.
The story is based on the author's experiences and is about a college student who falls in love with a young Swahili man, and they plan to marry and live a simple life in Kenya. But their plans are left in jeopardy when a civil war threatens to tear them apart.
The movie will be produced by Bruce Cohen, known from Silver Linings Playbook, and Jessica Leventhal.
