ROBERT De Niro wore socks during sex.
Actress-and-model Carole Mallory claims she had a 14-day affair with the actor after they met in 1975 at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel.
Mallory says De Niro left his comfortable foot-warmers on while the pair had made love which she later recognised was part of his “flighty spirit”.
“During lovemaking, he never stopped looking in my eyes. He had a butterfly tattoo that I later realized matched his flighty spirit. So did the fact he left his socks on,” she writes in her latest book, Picasso’s Ghost.
“The following year he married Diahnne Abbott … I would have appreciated a phone call.”
In the tome, Carole details her relationship and broken engagement to legendary artist Pablo Picasso‘s son Claude as well as her affairs with Richard Gere and Peter Sellers, who she says reminded her of a “giant panda bear” because he was so hairy.
“I kissed him all over his hairy body. He had hair everywhere. He even had it on his back. I liked it. He reminded me of a giant panda bear,” she wrote.
“I think maybe he was too filled with self-loathing. Alcohol temporarily masked that and freed him from his demonic thoughts about himself.”
