British actor Robert Pattinson has allegedly turned to his former co-star for help following the high-profile split, according to newspaper reports today.
Witherspoon, who lives on a ?3m ranch in Ojai, California, with her husband Jim Toth, is said to have offered her home as a refuge after Pattinson moved out of the house he shared with Stewart.
A soutce told the Daily Mirror: “He knew he could turn to Reese and she hasn’t let him down.”
The pair are understood to be firm friends after playing who played lovers in the film Water for Elephants.
Pattinson, 26, is said to be “heartbroken and angry” at the revelations about Stewart?s relationship with Rupert Sanders, the father-of-two who directed her in Snow White and the Huntsman.
