Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are allegedly in a custody battle over their dog, Bear, who the couple adopted together. While this is not exactly on par with Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s recent custody issues regarding daughter, Suri, it’s still a difficult issue for the Twilight duo. They adopted Bear together and even nursed him back to health when he suffered from Parvo disease.

Custody battles are, of course, extremely trying, and the solution isn’t always clear cut, no matter if it’s children or pets that are involved. It’s obviously not fair for us to say that Rob’s the one that deserves Bear because he’s the one with the broken heart, but we did find this old video of Robert from 2011 that shows just how much he loves his dog. In the 7-minute video, filmed when Rob was on the set of Cosmopolis in Toronto and K-Stew and Bear came for a visit, Rob walks Bear to the couple’s car, putting him in th backseat and then makes sure Kristen makes her way safely to the car. What a sweetheart.
