It was usually a time in their hectic schedules when they could eventually spend some quality time together, but Robert Pattinson is said to be 'dreading' the next Twilight promotional tour.
The 26-year-old is understandably not looking forward to spending time in public with Kristen Stewart after news of her alleged infidelity broke.
The couple will be expected to attend premieres together and conduct joint interviews in the lead up to the release of Breaking Dawn: Part Two, which is released in November.
'He is in pieces but the Twilight love triangle storyline is nothing without him and Kristen,' a source told Perez Hilton.
'It is eating him up that he has no choice but to see her again because of work. His humiliation is total.'
The film's production company is also said to be worrying about the upcoming promotional duties as Robert and Kristen are of course the main stars of the film.
A source close to Summit Entertainment apparently spoke to Perez, saying: 'There’s serious concern about the promotional tour, which is set to kick off in October.
'This is a potential nightmare for all involved. Fans look forward to seeing them together during interviews. It’s great publicity for the film.
'Robert even used to be happy to go to events with Kristen that he wasn’t contractually obligated to go to, like the Teen Choice Awards last Sunday,' the source added.
